On February 16, 2021, CCL officially launched "Carnival Monopoly" available for online purchase for USD 40. The limited-edition board game is cruise-themed (Carnival ship properties, port taxes, Cruise Director announcements). In February was introduced CCL's exclusive beer "Lord Nelson’s Smooth Sailing Cruising Ale". CCL's partnership with "The Lord Nelson Brewery Hotel" (1815-built, based in The Rocks, NSW Australia) is since June 2014, when was introduced the "Thirsty Frog Summer Ale". Today, CCL is one of the 10 brands owned by Carnival Corporation - currently the world's largest passenger shipping company (followed by RCG-Royal Caribbean Group). Carnival’s ships will remain fully in festive mode through January 1, 2024, but will typically lose their decorations on the first turnaround day in the new year, even if that is January 2 or 3.

If you have a specific cruise director in mind, checking the schedule regularly for any updates or changes is recommended. Carnival Jubilee's itinerary program is based on year-round Caribbean roundtrips leaving from homeport Galveston (Texas USA). The inaugural cruise season was originally planned to start on October 30, 2023, with an 18-day Transatlantic crossing from Southampton to Texas (call ports Vigo, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Funchal Madeira, Grand Turk). However, due to construction delays, the liner's delivery was postponed and the Maiden Voyage was rescheduled for December 23rd (6x sailings were canceled in Dec 2022/the Transatlantic from Europe to the USA plus 5x Caribbean departures).

Other popular venues found on some Carnival ships include RedFrog Pub, which serves up Carnival's tasty housemade beers on tap, as well as plenty of other choices. With the latter, you can team up with your friends and family to play giant versions of Connect 4 Basketball or Simon Flash in front of a live audience. Carnival also uses its big theaters for lots of interactive shows that involve you, the passenger, getting a little silly. They include Lip Sync Battle Carnival — a shipboard adaptation of the Paramount Network TV series — and Hasbro, the Game Show. Every Carnival ship has one big theater where you'll often find flashy, fast-paced production shows that string together a medley of loosely related tunes.

Since April 1st, CCL again offers the popular "Behind the Scenes" ship tour fleetwide. It costs extra ($55-$95 per person), lasts ~2-3,5 hours and visits the Wheelhouse/Navigation Bridge, the Engine Control Room, Main Dining Room's Galley/kitchen, crew areas (cabins, mess hall, dining room, bar lounge), laundry, among others. Cruise directors’ salaries at Carnival Cruise Line can vary based on experience, qualifications, and specific contract terms. A new cruise director’s salary ranges from $45K to over $100K annually. Additionally, cruise directors receive complimentary travel, accommodations, meals, and more benefits.
The quality of the food (and drink) on Carnival ships always surprises us, given the budget pricing of the brand. Despite being one of the industry's lowest-cost operators, Carnival manages to pull off one of the best steakhouses at sea in Fahrenheit 555, and even the no-extra-charge main restaurants get the basics right. The latter venue was created in partnership with Food Network's Guy Fieri and serves a free lunch on embarkation and sea days, with all items smoked on board. Other extra-charge eateries often found on Carnival vessels include Bonsai, an a la carte sushi restaurant (now on 14 ships), and JiJi Asian Kitchen, which costs $24 per person (now on four ships). Like other big-ship operators, Carnival packs a lot of dining options onto its vessels — some included in the price, some at an extra charge. That said, Carnival has seen the success that some of its competitors have had with a bigger range of upscale accommodations, and it's eyeing more suites for future vessels.
The new onboard activity is offered fleetwide, including on the Australia-based ships, where are also available giant board games (like Trivial Pursuit, Guess Who, Cranium). In April, CCL expanded the shipboard youth programming (fleetwide) via exclusive partnership with Zumbini. The company specializes in 45-min high-energy classes and activities (for kids 0-4 years-old) that combine playing, singing and dancing. Zumbini classes (created by Zumba and BabyFirst) feature group sing-alongs, using musical instruments and learning activities.

Carnival Jubilee has the travel pros and press about as excited as cruise fans. The new tour deals pertain to over 50 call ports in Mexico, Hawaii, Bahamas, Caribbean, Canada New England, South America. The new option allows securing the ship, stateroom and itinerary with a predetermined payment plan and monthly amounts.

The aft-located (Deck 19) BOLT was designed and built by Maurer Rides (Munich Germany-based company) specializing in roller coaster manufacturing.
Following a similar route, the cruise includes visits to Amber Cove and San Juan as well but replaces the visit to St. Thomas with a call to St. Maarten – where the Celebration spends nine hours docked at the port of Philipsburg.
